Overall responsibility for the operational management of the plant (production, quality, supply chain, maintenance, HSE).

Stabilisation of production processes and ensuring high OEE performance in complex glass manufacturing.

Management and further development of the plant organisation, including shop floor teams and middle management.

Implementation and monitoring of relevant KPIs as well as derivation and implementation of operational improvement programmes.

Ensuring reliable delivery capability to international OEM customers.

Optimisation of production planning, material flow, inventories and logistics processes.

Establishment and further development of Lean/KAIZEN initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.

Close cooperation with engineering for process optimisation, start-up management and technical problem solving.

Identification of operational risks and implementation of effective countermeasures.

Stakeholder management and transparent communication with management and global functions.

Several years of management experience as COO, plant manager or head of operations in the automotive industry.

At least 4 years of experience in an automotive plant for glass production.

Deep understanding of glass manufacturing, thermal and mechanical processes or comparable series production.

Proven experience in lean management, TPM, CIP and performance improvement programmes.

High level of expertise in production control, supply chain management and quality management.

Strong analytical skills and KPI- and data-driven approach to work.

Strong leadership skills for managing large production teams and change processes.

Experience in dealing with OEM requirements, audits and automotive standards (e.g. IATF 16949).

Confident stakeholder management and strong communication skills at all levels.

Hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills and resilience in challenging production environments.

Business fluent German and good English skills.
