- Design full factory layout (macro to detailed Workstation level) using tools such as AutoCAD
- Integrate equipment constraints (footprint, utilities, safety, maintenance access)
- Optimise internal logistics flows (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
- Size buffer zones, storage areas, and warehouses based on production needs
- Build and compare layout scenarios using quantitative performance criteria
- Ensure compliance with safety, ergonomic, fire, and aerospace standards
- Collaborate with engineering, production, logistics, HSE, suppliers, and architects
- Deliver 2D/3D layouts, flow diagrams, and documentation for decision-making
Conditions / Anforderungen / Požadavky:
- 8-10 years in industrial layout design/factory planning
- Strong experience on greenfield (new factory) projects
- Background in aerospace, automotive, or precision manufacturing
- Advanced AutoCAD + one layout/simulation tool (Factory Design Suite, CATIA, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of flow optimisation (VSM, spaghetti diagrams, simulation)
- Lean manufacturing applied to layout (cells, pull flow, Mizusumashi, etc.)
- Experience with material handling systems (AGV, conveyors, cranes, racking)
- Ability to size logistics zones (inventory, throughput, ergonomics)
